Best Practices
Before Canceling

- Note budget amounts
2. Finish current period
- You paid for it
- Use until expires
- Then switches to free
3. Inform partner
- If budgeting together
- Discuss decision
- Plan for manual entry
After Canceling
1. Set calendar reminder
- For end of billing period
- Know when service ends
- Prepare for manual entry
2. Download transactions
- Before losing auto-sync
- Save recent history
- For tax records
3. Consider returning
- Evaluate free plan
- See if you miss auto-sync
- Resubscribe if valuable
Canceling vs. Pausing
Balance Doesn’t Offer “Pause”
Only two options:
- Stay subscribed (pay, keep features)
- Cancel (stop paying, lose auto-sync, keep data)
No “pause” or “vacation mode”.
Work-Around for Temporary Break
If need break:
- Keep subscription active
- Just don’t use it for a while
- Worth $5.99 to keep auto-syncing?
- Or cancel and resubscribe later
